Nuriia Nurgalieva was born in 1998 in Naberezhnye Chelny. She graduated from the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (2021), Faculty of Architecture.
Her practice spans reverse glass painting, watercolor, and lenticular printing. In 2023, she developed her first series of glass works, My Dear Dear, which explores the interplay between aggression and emotional vulnerability, as well as the fragility of the body and memory. This project became the starting point for her further artistic trajectory.
Nurgalieva has exhibited at MMOMA, Triumph Gallery, MaxArt, Center for Contemporary Culture Smena, Terminal A, Set Projects, and Masla Lisse, and has participated in the Blazar Art Fair.
